CBD Oil vs. CBD Vape Juice: What’s the Difference?

When CBD was first brought to the forefront, the most popular way to get your CBD supplement was by taking an oral liquid tincture. CBD users now have many options. With all the choices, there are a lot more questions about how to use CBD supplements properly. Vaping is a popular method of consuming CBD. What is the best way? Which one is better for your vape pen? You can take either orally. We have all the answers you need when it comes to CBD vape juice vs. CBD oil!

Terminology

Definitions of CBD vape liquid and CBD oil are provided before we begin.

CBD Tincture/CBD oil

Tinctures and oils can be taken orally. These oils are typically created by extracting the CBD from hemp plants using CO2 or alcohol and diluting it with carrier oils like coconut, olive, hempseed or hempseed. You can also add other ingredients to give it flavour.

CBD Vape Oil/CBD E-Liquid/CBD Vape Juice

Vape oils and liquids are made for e-cigarettes and vape pens. The CBD extract is thinned with a thinning agent to make it easier to flow through the pen and create the vapour you inhale.

Can I vape a CBD tincture?

We do not recommend vaping any CBD tincture, CBD oil or anything with those labels. The oil is thick and can cause many problems. It could clog up your pen or dirty your coil.

Oils are also too thick to create a good vapour. If you burn the oil too fast, you will inhale thick smoke instead of smooth vape clouds.

Can I use CBD vape juice to consume?

The CBD vape juice is not toxic, so you can technically ingest it like a tincture. Just because you can doesn’t mean that you should; the oils and tinctures have been formulated to taste pleasant and smooth when taken orally.

CBD oil or CBD vape juice is a matter of preference. It’s best to use supplements and products for their intended purposes. Double-check all your CBD products before buying, and make sure to get the best CBD product for you!
